Works as advertised!

  • Pros: Quick and easy to put on...tiedown is complete in about 1/4 of the time
  • Cons: Directions provided were not the clearest.
  • Review: The directions were not perfectly clear on how to adjust the "excess" rope length with a knot on the bottom side of the slide. Once I figured out what was needed so the slide would "lock" they worked great. I also really like that a case is provided.

Fantastic

  • Review: Bought this product at a fly-in directly from the inventor. I tiedown outside year round. The first dozen times I checked these after a bad windstorm they were tight enough to play a tune on! Super well made and first quality. Have used them for over a year now and they still look brand new. This is the best value in aviation (they could easily charge twice as much).

Length of rope not long enough

  • Review: These make quick work and beat most of the sun wrecked ropes you find on the ramp. Very easy to use, but 3 stars because the ropes get chewed up pretty quick by the nature of how they operate. Used just once for an unexpected 8 day AOG stay. Really glad I had them in the stowage for just such a case - We hangar the PA32 unless unavailable and wouldn't rely on these if we tied down regularly..

Too short

  • Review: This product is nicely made. that said, it is much too short. Didn't use until 3 mos after purchase and then needed on a cold rainy night. The tail tie-down is very short. You have to be right over a tie-down ring. the wing tie downs are also short and you need to be centered between the 2 tie down rings. Was a pain maneuvering the plan and then had to use one wing tie down for the tail so had only 2 points of tie down. Not good.
