The AS-5 uses two form-fitting black polycarbonate clips and comes with an adjustable leg strap with pen holder, and 2 Tilt Pads for angled up viewing, device cooling, and enhanced stability. The AS-5 has a clip strap that is designed to fit securely across cases/devices that are approximately 8-10 inches wide, such as the iPad Air.

Clips fit snugly to the otter box I use on my iPad mini 4. The "pillow pads" keep the iPad in place for the whole flight with minimal adjustment - a solid fit to the contour of your leg so there?s no rocking when using the touch screen.
The elastic and plastics buckle used on the leg strap seems heavier duty than that found on similar products.
Velcro between iPad harness and leg strap needs improvement, small surface area is hard to line up and secure when removing and reattaching during flight.
