Aerox Retrofit Kit

Consists of three parts:

1. Oxysaver Cannula - This comfortable device may be used in place of a mask at altitudes up to 18,000 feet MSL. It has a conserving feature that can extend your oxygen supply up to eight times.

• A reservoir fills with 18ml of expired air at the initial phase of expiration, which is then enriched or replaced with oxygen during the remainder of expiration
• The diaphragm immediately collapses on initial inspiration, delivering a dose of highly oxygen-enriched air to the deepest portion of the lungs
• Its soft nasal prongs offer maximum comfort and place less pressure on the septum

2. Flow-Meter - This device not only indicates oxygen flow but also reads directly in thousands of feet MSL. The Flow-Meter has dual scale--useable for Oxysaver Cannulas or Masks.

3. Adjustable Flow Needle Valve - An all metal, thumb screw operated Needle Valve allows you to precisely control flow. The adjustable Needle Valve is attached to the outlet end of the connector supplied with your system. The flow can now be controlled precisely for altitude and the type of equipment (Oxysaver Cannula, Mask or Standard Cannula). The Flow-Meter and Needle Valve may also be co-located by changing out the standard Flow-Meter with the optional Glow-Meter (contact us for details and pricing). By upgrading to the optional Glow-Meter, you are eliminating the need to access the tank and Needle Valve when adjusting the flow of oxygen; NO reaching back!!!

Note: If you are using the Oxysaver Cannula and wish to exceed 18,000 feet, simply detach the cannula hose from the outlet of the Flow-Meter and attach the hose from your mask. Remember to increase the flow accordingly.
