Q: I downloaded the X Plane Demo from X Plane how will that work if I buy the Deluxe Saitek Flight Simulator Bundle?
A: After your purchase, you will receive an email with the license code for X-Plane. You can apply that license code to the demo software that you have already installation and it will change it to a permanent license.
Q: What planes does it simulate?
A: There are 22 aircraft included with X-Plane (shown here) and hundreds more than can be downloaded and installed as add-ons.
Q: Does this work on an xbox? If so, how is the setup
A: No, this will NOT work on X-Box. However, we do have the Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke Pack and the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One Joystick for XBox and Windows.
Q: Does the download only come in disc, or can you get it digital
A: This bundle comes with a digital download version of X-plane 12.
Q: Can you play it on Xbox
A: No, it will not work on Xbox.
Q: this work for Mac?
A: Yes, this will work for PC and Mac.
Q: What are the computer requirements for X-Plane 12 with the rudder pedals, yoke and throttles?
A: X-Plane 12 System Requirements: X-Plane 12 requires a high end machine.
The minimum requirements are:
Disk Space: 25GB
CPU: Intel Core i3, i5, i7, or i9 CPU with 4 or more cores, or AMD Ryzen 3, 5, 7 or 9. (Those with other CPUs should try the demo before purchasing.)
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Video Card: a Vulkan 1.3-capable video card from NVIDIA or AMD with at least 2 GB VRAM
Note: Intel GPUs are not supported by X-Plane 12.
If your system is borderline, we encourage you to try the demo first. The full version of the simulator will perform exactly the same as the demo—neither better nor worse.
However, for the best experience, we highly recommend at least the following:
CPU: Intel Core i5 8600k or Ryzen 5 3500 or better, or Apple Silicon
Memory: 16-24 GB RAM or more
Video Card: a DirectX 12-capable video card from NVIDIA or AMD with at least 4-8 GB VRAM (GeForce GTX 2070 or better, or similar from AMD)
Joystick or Yoke and Rudders
Supported Video Cards:
NVIDIA: Nvidia 900 series Desktop GPU or newer, or GeForce 965M, 970M, 980M and 980MX or newer (Second generation Maxwell or newer); driver version 510 or newer
AMD: AMD Radeon RX 500 or newer, driver version Adrenaline 22.2.1or newer
Apple Silicon
Note: Intel GPUs are not supported by X-Plane 12.
Support Operating Systems:
macOS: macOS 10.15 or newer (e.g. Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey)
Windows: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Linux: Varies. While X-Plane 12 will run on Linux, support is not provided for specific distributions; if you want to run on Linux, you will need to try X-Plane on your distribution to see if it is compatible. With that in mind, we have developers using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS new newer successfully.
Q: Can I log instrument approaches with this?
A: No, this is not FAA certified for logging time.
Q: Where do i purchase the DVD's for the sim.?

A: No, it will not.
Q: Are the DVDs necessary if I already have X Plane 11 installed through a separate purchase?
A: If you already have X-Plane, you should get the Logitech G Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, Throttle, and Rudders Bundle instead.

A: Yes.
Q: how much memory is needed
A: You can find the system requirements for X-Plane here.
