Great study guide
- By Beau from Queen Creek AZ USA on Wednesday, February 28, 2024
- Pros: Some DPEs will allow it in the check ride because it sites specific FAA sources.
- Cons: Make sure to fill it out in pencil so you can make corrections.
- Review: I bought this book for my brother in law who is just about to start on his CFI initial certification. I’m currently working for a regional carrier awaiting a class date with a legacy carrier. I tonight CFI initial course for my last year as an instructor. I found this book immensely helpful consolidating all of the information from the Instructor Flying Handbook into easily understood layout. For anyone about to start on your CFI certification you will quickly find out a lot of what you need to learn has nothing to do with flying and more to do with psychology learning. This book breaks down these new ideas into even more acronyms

Disappointing
- By A Customer on Wednesday, September 16, 2026
- Pros:
- Cons: It’s an exercise book, not a textbook.
- Review: Not what I was looking for, this is an exercise book. I was looking for a textbook, similar to the Aviation Instructors Handbook, I’m looking for more information that enhances and compliments the FAA publications, and covers all the elements in the ACS. The Aviation Instructors Handbook is vague and inconclusive. This was my last hope.
