Nighthawk Microlight II

The Nighthawk Microlight is designed to be word on any finger or kneeboard. It is so small and light-weight that you don't even know you are wearing it and so bright that you will wonder how anything this small can generate this amount of high intensity light. The Microlight attaches with an adjustable Velcro strap to your finger or with an included clip to your kneeboard or clothing. The unit uses two 1.5V #357 mini alkaline batteries (included) and will operate approximately 15 hours between changes. Choose from Red, Green, or Clear high-intensity lights.

a "handy" product

Pros: good light beam. innovative strap.
Cons: wrong placement of the clip. cannot access on/off switch easily
Review: Light beam as expected. the clip might be useful but poses more of a problem when wearing on a finger; the thumb cannot reach the on/off switch. I suggest the clip be removed from the torch.

Great product!

Review: This is real nice for inside the cockpit at night. The circle of light that shines is just large enough and bright enough for viewing a chart or for finding things in the plane, but not bright enough to interfere with night vision. This is also handy to have on your finger when doing a preflight at night, for things such as visually checking the fuel level in the tanks.
