I would buy again
by Robert from Truckee CA USA

Pros: Clear sound, comfortable after long periods.
Cons: I wish it came with the ear covers
Review: I love this headset. It is comfortable. I test drove a pair from my flight instructor and loved the gels. It makes a huge difference. My older headsets would leave me with soar ears after an hour of flying. These are the best. The only thing I wish I had done is purchase the covers for the earpieces at the time of initial purchase

Nice Headset
by Jerry from Stow MA USA

Pros: Good noise reductions, clear communications
Cons: None
Review: I have yet to find am issue with this product. Keep engine noise to a minimum, communication is clear, and just as impressive is that they are still made here in the USA.

Great Headset
by Kile Anderson from Lewisville, TX

Pros: They are rock solid and I simply love them.
Cons: For $300 you'd think DC would include a carrying bag. I bought one but I think they should ship with one in the box.
Review: I used DC headsets in the military and even with a bunch of 19 year olds banging them around all the time they always seemed to work. I just started training for my private certificate and I am thoroughly satisfied with this headset. I have found nothing to complain about. They are loud and clear even when flying on 100 degree days with the windows open at full throttle I have no problem hearing my instructor or ATC. I'm sure they will last for at least the 1st decade of my flying career.

Pros: Solid brand. The benchmark for value and performance
Cons: None
Review: I am buying it again. My old H10=13S started acting up so I replaced the mic and then the S sort of dropped off. I thought about replacing the cord but opted for a new set. It could be my KX170B. Anyway I have a new set and really like it

well worth the money
by Colton from Bakersfield CA USA

Pros: Listed...
Cons: Stereo/Mono switch is dificult to move and notice...
Review: Nice quality, clear and define mic. Gel ears are nice, nice sound, Very Durable. I would recommend them... if our military uses them they have to be the best value at the best price. IF ONE EAR PIECE ISN'T WORKING....Make sure its in stereo! IT's A 4.5 really the switch is just not "great".

by Ron M. from Charleston,WV

Pros: It's good all around
Cons: NONE
Review: I've had my H10-13.4s for about 4yrs now and it's just a all around great headset. It's been used in everything from Shorts 360's to KingAir 200's even Cessna's and Christen Eagle's I'd recommend this headset to anyone! The price is right for this kind of quality, plus David Clark gives you a 5yr warranty. Nothing else to explain.

Sunday, November 25, 2007
by A Customer from Princeton, NJ
Pros: Comfortable, good sound, simple to use, affordable
Cons: None
Review: As a student pilot, I used to have to borrow a poor quality headset from the airport and my ears certainly paid the price. This headset satisfies all that one could ask for--it's very comfortable, the sound is clear, and the price is relatively affordable compared to other brands and models. I'm very pleased with my buy.

The best headset at he best price !
by George from NC

Review: I bought this for my son, who is a student pilot. This is the type of headset he is using at present - but was borrowed. His instructor says it costs more than others but will last and prove its worth. The headset arrived in three days. My son is totally delighted. I inspected it myself. It is a quality product. I believe his instructor is right!

Previous Customer Questions For David Clark H10-13S Stereo Headset:
Ask Your Own Question
On Sunday, September 14, 2008 a customer asked:
Q:
Does it have a switch or adapter to use it in non-stereo mode?
A: Yes, there is a stereo-mono switch.  Unless you are connected to a stereo source (i.e. CD/MP3 player or Satellite radio), the headset should always be in the mono mode.

On Saturday, August 02, 2008 a customer asked:
Q:
Does H10-13S have "Super-Soft, Double Foam Head Pad" or just "Super-Soft Head Pad"? And does it include "Comfort Gel, Undercut Ear Seal"?
A: Yes, the H10-13S includes the Super-Soft, Double Foam Head Pad and the Comfort Gel, Undercut Ear Seals.

On Thursday, December 06, 2007 a customer asked:
Q:
What does stereo version mean. This is a gift for my fiance i would like the best head set you all recommend
A: The stereo version is the exact same as the regular David Clark H10-13.4 mono version in most cases. The ONLY time there will be any difference is when you are connected to a stereo music source (such as a CD or XM Radio) and then it will provide stereo music separation in each ear. For communication within the cockpit or to ATC (Air Traffic Control) there is no difference at all.
