A Great Watch - a "Must Buy" by Philip - A Pilot Wanna-Be from Washington, D.C.
Review: I have always enjoyed collecting watches. Citizen has made the ultimate watch - you never have to touch it to adjust it! Atomic timekeeping works perfectly. Everynight, the watch resets to the exact time by the US atomic clock in Bolder, CO. Not only that, Citizen's eco-drive technology uses solar power to keep the battery charged. Only Citizen has a five-year warranty. As far as the asthetics - unbelievable. The watch was designed to look like control panels in an airline cockpit. So, you have reliability, user-friendly adjustments (none needed), and a beautiful watch. This is the nicest watch I have ever purchased, and it is well worth the price. I highly reccomend this watch to anyone in the airline industry. It will impress your customers, colleagues, and everyone else.

Ask Your Own Question

On Saturday, August 14, 2010 a customer asked:
Q: Does the JY0040-59L have the Blue Angels insignia on the back of the watch?
A:
Yes it does.
On Monday, April 12, 2010 a customer asked:
Q: What is the difference between this watch and the other two Citizen blue angels watches you carry? Thanks
A:
JR3090-58L is titanium which is nearly 50 percent lighter than steel, but 30 percent stronger. It's also particularly resistant to salt water corrosion.
The JY0040-59L and the JR3080-51L are fairly similar but the style is slightly different. For example, the JR3080-51L has bi-directional rotating slide rule with yellow triangle accents whereas the JY0040-59L has more rectangular accents. The JY0040-59L World Time in 43 Cities whereas the JR3080-51L has 22 Time Zones (30 Cities). The JY0040-59L also has Greenwich Mean Time Display. The stainless steel bracelets are also slightly different styles on both. However, they are both stainless steel versus the titanium in the JR3090-58L.
On Friday, March 05, 2010 a customer asked:
Q: What is the case size? What wrist size does it fit?
A:
The case diameter is 45 millimeters (1.77 inches) and the case is 15 millimeters thick (0.59 inches). Generally with watches, anything over 45 mm is considered a large size so this may look oversized on smaller wrists.
