Not enough information

Cons: Not enough information
Review: I thought it would be more comprehensive. I spent most of my time studying the manual. I thought it would be more like taking a class than just a fast overview of a subject. Not so. I was disappointed, but for the price I should not complain too much. I would not recommend it.

I really like this store, I do not like this product

Review: I purchase products through Mypilotstore.com on a regular basis. I have never had a product that I was disappointed with until the ASA Instrument Pilot DVD test prep. The lack of detail and explanation was undeniable. Purchasing this ASA product, I was in the false belief that the dvd set would have great instruction and go into detail with aspects to IFR flight in order to prepare me for the test. The instruction was inferior to anyother dvd or book, the instructors on the DVD spoke timidly, NO detail at all, general basic IFR procedures, definitely not worth the money. I would recommend the Jepp Manual and the Video Series. Far superior in explanation and material. Yes more expensive, but if you are going to spend around 100.00 for this series you might as well trash it. On a more positive note, as stated above this DVD is efficient at general information. Obviously they do not use Jepp Charts, they use NOS I believe. Great product if you have low expectations and dont want to learn much of anything.

Very nice product

Review: Overall a good study aid. I definitely needed other sources to supplement the videos, but for the key facts needed on the written it was quite good. It was very high quality and great at keeping me interested. My only major complaint is that they should only read out the CORRECT answer on test questions, rather than slowly reading through each wrong answer. When they read out every wrong answer first, it makes it harder to remember the correct one.
