For the price (on Tenth of a Bose or Lightspeed) this headset was REALY GOOD. No noise canceling of course but the sound quality was excellent and the passive noise reduction from the earcups was more than adequate for short 1-2 hour flights.
I don't own a set but would definitely have one as a back up or purchase as a primary training headset if cost was a factor.

Q: Does this headset fit the plug-ins for a Cessna 162/172 (Skycatcher/Skyhawk)? The plugs that I see in the aircraft are double, and one is bigger than the other.
A: Yes, the Rugged Air RA200 Headset includes the Dual Male Plugs for Fixed Wing Aircraft. These plugs are known as the PJ-055 and PJ-068 plugs. The PJ-055 provides audio to the ear cups and the PJ-068 is for your microphone. These plugs will work in almost all civilian and commercial airplanes, even when other options might work as well. If you're in doubt, these are generally a safe bet.
