This is an excellent product for me, and I can be away on duty for about 5 days, with everything from a sewing kit to my portable printer—clothes and toiletries, of course.
The only drawback is the J hook and that annoying attachment. If one is not careful you will lose one every trip. Really inconvenient if lost. I have to buy one as a replacement.

The new hook design is less than ideal. Not a fan of the magnet holding the strap on. Too easy for someone to easily slip off. The hook is too big and wieldy. The strap, although somewhat adjustable is still too long even in its shortest position. A standard size kit bag drags along the ground. The strap is securely sewn into a loop that limits how much it can be adjusted.
