Douglas DC-3 Raisin Bomber Aviation Tag - D-CXXX Overview:

The limited DC 3 Series comes from the left wing DNA of the historic C-47B-30-DK – better known as the “cherry bomber”. During her mission for the Berlin Airlift in 1948/49, she ensured the survival of many Berliners. She then traveled half the world - from France to Indonesia - before returning to Germany, where on October 30, 2008 at 11:55 p.m. she took the very last flight from the oldest airport in the world - Berlin-Tempelhof - together with the historic Ju52. completed and thus ended the era of the “mother of all airports”.
