  • Review: Very easy to mount in the plane! Very flexible arms!! Some vibration at one or two rpm settings but easily solved with slight rpm change. Flying a WWII Taylorcraft L-2 (L-Bird) which vibrates anyway. Looking forward to trying it in the 172-SP. Held my IPhone 6 securely even though I had to decenter it to allow the grips to clear one volume button and the sleep button.

Exceeds my expectations

  • Review: I have been very pleased with the results, with one exception. This device holds my Samsung Galaxy S4 securely to the yoke. The only thing I didn't like was that the plastic/composite piece which holds the item to the yoke cracked and broke; but, I'm thinking it was due to over-tightening the Unit. Otherwise, this works well with my smart phone and is exactly what I was looking for.

Holds Great

  • Cons: Super glue during assembly
  • Review: I use this in a 172 holding my iPhone 6S plus is a magpul case. It is the absolute largest thing this size X grip will hold, but it does it well and without hitting any buttons on the phone. The only complaint I have is that the rubber feet come with superglue to attach them to the metal arms. Even one drop of glue will run everywhere! So use caution at that stage. If not for that I would give 5 star.
