Audio volume too low

- Review: I tried using this with a 10-76XL military headset. Recording audio from the headset mike to the smartphone works just fine, but when listening to music from the phone, the volume is way too low. I think the impedance is too high or something.

Overmodulation?

- Review: I used this today and the audio was very overmodulated and unusable. I'm not sure if it's the adapter or something that can be adjusted elsewhere. I am using the REV recording app on iPhone.
