- Cons: microphone positioning slightly tricky and it isn't noise cancelling
- Review: I am a student pilot and between the aircraft rentals, purchase of books, flight physical, yadda yadda yadda, I was looking to avoid spending $1000 on a headset. Well, this one is comfortable (I've flown for 2 1/2 hour lessons and it didn't bother me) and is clear. The only problem is that you have to be careful positioning the microphone or else it cuts off the first part of your transmission... but it has been a beautiful headset to me.

- Pros: The sound quality and microphone function is decent and the availability for passengers to plug in an ipod is nice.
- Cons: Ear comfort could be better, and the microphone boom can interfere with the plug wire at the earpiece when swinging the boom from left to right side headset use.
- Review: This headset offers a decent value and higher end options at a low cost. The available adjustments make this compatible for most head sizes and shapes. This headset works very well with passengers on short to medium length flights, and that was the reason for my selection. For pilots or other personnel that will be wearing headsets for longer durations, I would recommend pursuit of a higher comfort level. This would be a cost effective student "starter" set.

Works good, but mic needs attention

- Review: This headset has worked well for my husband, who is just beginning his studies to learn to fly. He has used the headset in flight and his only complaint is that the microphone does not pick up very good. He has to have the mic touching his mouth for it to pick up his voice, and he's not a quiet talker.

Doesn't last long

- Review: Decent Beginner headset, but began having trouble with it within a few months months. I only used it as a passenger set. I have a softcom headset that is similarly priced and it is way better for the money
