  • Review: This checklist by CheckMate more than met my expectations. It's actually more complete than the flip-list provided by my FBO.

    Checklists and their use are a _big_ deal in check rides. Your examiner expects you to have the checklist handy and expects you to refer to it frequently--like all the time. The old flip-list was a nightmare. Which page? Where did I drop it this time? What items do I need to add to make it complete?

    With this single-page checklist tucked between me and my left shoulder strap, access is quick draw and all the info is right there, to be indicated with my thumb. Quick. Clear. And I have yet to drop it anywhere at all ... !

  • Cons: expensive, oversized for kneeboard
  • Review: When looking to buy a checklist I thought that bigger was better and that the oversized kneeboard size would be okay... + more info. , right? Well there is a little more info., but I found there categories hard to follow, and the oversized kneeboard thing has been a pain that I'm always catching on
    something. Note to self, bigger is not always better!
