Quick-Easy to change-Still just as comfortable

  • By JR Barbe' from Charlotte NC USA on Saturday, December 19, 2009
  • Pros: Saves you money to put towards other gear.
  • Cons: Doesn't fold up for storing very good
  • Review: I am not familiar with alot of whats out there on the market, but have tried a Bose and a Zulu headset. I think for the cost comparison of the Bose/Zulu brands, I love my David Clark headset and have never found it hard to hear what ATC or other transmissions over the rotor system noise. I'm also glad to not have spent so much on a headset because I feel the next step for my career is using a helmet anyway and they cost a pretty penny to. If David Clark had a helmet system on the market they would definitely have my sale.

No other choice!

  • By Richard from Vancouver WA USA on Monday, February 14, 2011
  • Pros:
  • Cons: Price
  • Review: I needed to replace one ear piece. Not possible. The ear pieces are probably more sturdy than the original but very expensive. Other than cost, they are perfect.

DC Flo-Fit Gel Ear Seals

  • By Gary from Anacortes WA USA on Tuesday, September 7, 2010
  • Pros: noise reduction, fit, 3-hrs of comfort
  • Cons: sun light melts the cover
  • Review: Love the fit, comfort, noise reduction. Don't leave them in direct sun light, they melt. I place mine under the seat when not in use. That has worked well so far. Max temp day 90F. My normal cross country can only last 3-hrs without a break.

Expensive but good

  • By Erikk from Pittsburg TX USA on Monday, April 25, 2011
  • Pros: GREAT seal, pretty comfortable
  • Cons: Expensive, & need a Cloth Ear Cushion Cover
  • Review: I really like the gel seals. These work really well. They have an extra part in the back that helps seal behind and below that ear, which really helps and is very comfortable. I wish they had some way to use the Cloth Ear Cushion Cover with the head set though.

Too easily damaged!

  • By Richard from Vancouver WA USA on Thursday, December 29, 2016
  • Pros: Comfortable.
  • Cons: See above.
  • Review: They are comfortable. Too expensive. Too easily damaged. Marked for left ear and right ear when it does not make any difference. Took me a couple years to figure that one out! Irritating!

It is what it says it is.

  • By A Customer from Louisville KY USA on Friday, February 10, 2012
  • Pros: Fit my headset
  • Cons: Expensive and don't last long.
  • Review: Ear seals fit the H20-10 headset only. They last only about a year or two depending on how much you use them before the gel starts to leak. I'm on my third set of ear seals and they are grossly overpriced by David Clark.
