- Review: If planes fly when the amount of paperwork associated with them equals their ramp weight, then given the weight of this kit, I should be able to fly very soon. Also, I no longer need to go to the gym to find heavy things to lift. I used the ASA kit for my Private, and I've got to say that where the ASA book is conversational and familiar, the Jepp book is purposefully structured (clearly sequenced by someone who knows some educational theory) and speaks with authority. Jepp expects you to learn precisely what they teach, and in good detail. Frankly, I like this book; I don't need to turn to Wikipedia and Google as often for more detail -- it's right there in the book.
