  • By PIERRE from REDMOND WA USA on Friday, February 15, 2008
  • Review: At long last the kids have an efficent earing protection as well as a device allowing them to talk to the pilot during the flight. Adjustable volume very convenient.

Good for my toddler

  • By Rachel from San Francisco CA USA on Thursday, November 9, 2017
  • Review: These are a little big for my 2 year old but she wears them and they protect her ears. She also wore them for the blue angles when they were in town.

Pick one color or the other!

  • By Ken from Lincoln NE USA on Saturday, August 11, 2012
  • Pros: Great sound and hearing protection for the kids
  • Cons: Blue/Red color looks bad. Stick to one or the other
  • Review: Everything about this headset was perfect. Fit our 5 year old, sounded great, the aux port worked great. The only thing I could say about this is why? Why, make a headset both blue and red? Why not make it either red OR blue as an option for us to buy?

Kids Love them

  • By Jay from Cheyenne WY USA on Tuesday, April 14, 2009
  • Pros: Value
  • Cons: No protective case.
  • Review: I would have gladly given five stars had the headset came with a protective carrying case. Otherwise, good noise reduction, comfortable, nice value.

Never buy an off brand

  • By A Customer from Grand Rapids, MI on Tuesday, October 20, 2009
  • Pros: Looks cool, fits kids well
  • Cons: Quality is not there, you get what you pay for, buy David Clark
  • Review: Worked well and fit ok upon first initial use. The cord was VERY LOW quality, cracks and splits have been numerous in the outer casing of the cord. As soon as you repair a couple, some more show up! I will in the near future have to have a new cord wired into the headset. Very disappointed in the quality.

Returned this item

  • By V35B on Saturday, January 17, 2009
  • Pros: Flexible boom on the mic. My two year old loved wearing them even though they did not fit very well.
  • Cons: Only able to intermittently hear audio spoken from the mic. Ear seals too large for small child and head band does not shrink down small enough.
  • Review: Even though these headsets are sized for a 1.5-10yr old they do not fit my 2yr old at all. He still loves wearing them but the ear seals end up cupping his jaw. The head band does not adjust down small enough to get rid of the inch gap at the top of his head so the cushion can rest on top of his head. The reason for returning was not size related. I know he will grow into them. I returned them because the mic was very hard to activate with normal voice. It would only intermittently pick up the audio from it. You had to yell into it or place it almost directly in your mouth to get it to pick up.

Headsets Are Incorrectly Measured for Youth

  • By Judy from Florida on Thursday, December 12, 2013
  • Pros: Good ear cups and well made headset
  • Cons: Useless for Youth. Good for adults or larger heads
  • Review: The length of the connector between the ear cups was incorrectly measured by the designer for children or small adults. They will correctly fit an adult head.

The reviewer who wrote that these headsets do not fit a two year old is correct. This two year old will not grow into these. I am a small, but not that small, adult woman. At the smallest/tightest adjustment, they go below my ears. They do NOT fit, and will never fit a child properly.

BUT a child or youth without experience with headsets will not know the difference, or that they do not fit. Children who have used headsets that fit will complain.

I also agree that two different colored ear cups is not attractive. I do not recommend these. I had to design a makeshift head pad in order to use these. It is ugly.

Since most children will not know the difference.I recommend you measure the distance between ear cups and buy only headsets that adjust correctly.
