Bose for half the price

  • By A Customer on Saturday, August 9, 2025
  • Pros: Overall every feature is quality
  • Cons: Only negative is they’re a tad heavier than Bose/lightspeed but it’s not noticeable while wearing them
  • Review: Honestly I used to have some Bose A20s but they were so old and raggedy I couldn’t bare to spend the money on another pair. These are on par if not better than the Bose. The ANC is just as good, battery life just as good, mic and overall quality is just as good. And plus if the batteries die you can just plug in a USB C cable from a power bank or port in the plane to keep them powered if you don’t have spare batteries. Also best thing is you can have 2 Bluetooth devices connected as where the Bose you can’t. I have my phone for music and my iPad connected for traffic callouts. Love this headset

Quality ANR with a little quirk

  • By James from Hilo HI USA on Saturday, April 26, 2025
  • Pros: Excellent comfort and ANR
  • Cons: No echo of mic input, very poor audio from Bluetooth source
  • Review: Overall the PROMAX ANR/H headset works fantastic, the voices from both ATC and your copilot are clear. The headset allows you to hear changes in the engine while also dampening the sound (making it bearable). The headset feels expensive and is well protected by the case it comes with. Only downside of the PROMAX ANR/H is that it doesn’t allow you to hear yourself clearly which is typically how you know that your copilot or ATC can hear you. Blue tooth audio is very poor, but that’s not something I really use. If I was to do this again I probably would opt for a version without the Bluetooth
