Easy to get iPad in and out

It Fills the Bill

  • Pros: It works as well as my iPad Mini 4 cradle. I like that they replaced my first cradle free of charge when it broke after 6 or 7 years.
  • Cons: I have no cons for this cradle.
  • Review: I attach the iPad Mini 6 to this cradle and hang it on my panel when I fly. This replaces the old Mini 4 cradle I was using before my iPad upgrade. My RAM EZ-Roll's Cradle is attached to a bent aluminum bracket I made. This cradle fills the bill.

Fantastic as always!

  • Pros: Holds the iPad rock solid. Many different mounting methods. Low priced.
  • Cons: Wasn't ready on release day.
  • Review: The EZ Roller mounts are perfect to hold my Mini 6 in the Jeep and SxS, allowing me easy access to my off-road mapping software. I picked up the Mini 6 to replace my Mini 5 on release day and then sadly had to try several other inferior products while I waited for the latest EZ Roller to hit the market. The Mini 6 has taken many falls from the lessors products during hard rock crawling and speeding through the desert, but it rock solid in an EZ Roller.

Just the cradle I needed!

  • Review: I purchased the cradle to accommodate my iPad mini 6. I didn't realize my cradle for for my old mini would not work until I got ready to takeoff for the first time with my new mini 6. It fell out immediately. I ordered a new proper cradle the same day. Perfect fit, but it is a little extra firm snapping mini into cradle. Extra classy touch is the clip to hold the Apple pin. Well done RAM!

Very tight fit

  • Pros: Fits perfectly and holds the iPad solidly, can install the iPad with one hand
  • Cons: Roller latch may be an issue over time if you have a glass screen protector.
  • Review: The mount fits the iPad mini 6 perfectly which is both a strength and a weakness. The iPad is rock solid in the mount and the top roller makes it fairly easy to snap into the mount. The downside is that it is the roller that holds the iPad in place and if you have a glass screen protector the roller presses down on the edge of the screen protector and my concern is that over time the screen protector edge will crack or break. It also will only work with the bare iPad and no case so if you want a case, you need one that is easy to remove. I bought a case that magnetically attaches to the iPad and is easy to remove and store in the plane so it works out OK for me.
