  • Review: Fits my 3rd gen iPad Pro 11" perfectly (no case or screen protector). Multiple mounting points for flexible positioning.

    Didn't come with mounting hardware. RAM website states this comes with the appropriate screws & nuts, MyPilotStore didn't include these (to be fair, it didn't actually say in their description that they were included, but still would have been nice).

Something to know if this Ram mount is used for iPad air 5.

  • Pros: This Ram mount for the IPad is perfect using Garmin Pilot.
  • Cons: The minor inconvenience of having to trim some material to let it fit, but ever so grateful that a mount was available for the new iPad
  • Review: This iPad holder is great, except it took a little modification to make it work. The iPad Air 5 that I have would not fit into the lower corners of the Ram mount. Turns out the iPad Air 5 is just a little thicker. First I sanded the inside of the lower ears, but ultimately found a dremil type tool more effective for easing the fit. All good now.

  • Review: iPad 5th generation 11" fits perfect but if you put a screen protector on you have to use a Dremel to remove little material from the slip in mounts to confiscate for the thickness of the glass protector
