Pros: Super light weight, forcible
Cons: Pick up on my speech in cockpit is low, I have to speak up for my passenger to hear every word. I had my left ear piece fall out a few times... Switched it out to the smaller size down and that 100% solved it... So I suppose that's actually a plus not a negative now that I think about it
Review:
No complaints at all. I could not hear with my old Bose ear cup headset. I was told to try the clarity aloft to see if ear plug types helped... 100% difference. I can now hear every word atc and approach say. I know people complain about how lightweight this headset is but hey, why not go with the heavier version. This headset is fantastic.

Not as comfortable or useful as expected

Pros: Good sound quality.
Cons: Can only return after 30 days. That’s ridiculous.
Review:
The newest clarity aloft headset has great potential but falls way short. It has a lot of moving parts, making it very susceptible to breaking. The headband isn’t comfortable and doesn’t fit no matter how it is adjusted. The ear prongs dig into the ears after awhile. The mike can be place either left or right side, which is handy. The foam pieces come lose no matter how well you check them each flight. The sound is clear but the transmission is frequently reporting as muffled.

Hate the ear hooks

Pros: idea of the flex headset is great
Cons: 1. ear hooks pinch 2. rubber gets stuck in hair 3. carrying case is a bit too small
Review:
I really wanted to love this headset. I owned the regular aloft for years and had no complaints other than the stiff wrap around annoyed me every now and then if my hair was down. I thought the flex would be the answer. Alas, no. The tight stiff rubber ear cuffs are not comfortable and get stuck in my hair. I have to put my hair up in a bun to get it on my head. I realize this is only affecting 10% of the pilot population but still, kind of a stupid design for something so expensive and fragile. Additionally, the carrying case is small (should be a plus right?) but you have to place it perfectly in there to close properly, who has that time? I want to protect it, but I also don't want to mess with minutia.
