Buy this one!

  • Pros: Mesh panels!
  • Cons: Fit is slightly larger than formula.
  • Review: The fit is just a little bigger than their measurement formula; not so much as to make it unusable. I can fly with a "golf" visor and it fits perfectly! My front seater has a pony tail and it fits her exactly. My favorite quality is the "cooling" effect you get as soon as the engine is started via the mesh top and side panels at idle power. Those panels are worth every penny. I use DC 13.4, perfect fit on earcup. If you have close cropped hair, I do not, consider a smaller size.

Good but not perfect

  • By Harry Neel from Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, September 23, 2023
  • Pros: It covers my head.
  • Cons: Opening for ear pieces fully to get on a David Clark.
  • Review: Flow with in open cockpit for a year. Basically met expectations. Opening for ear pieces very snug on David Clark. every time I go to fit the head set the ear muffs pull off. Velcro to short to tighten around ear piece. Part of this is David Clark's fault on how they attach ear covers. Way too easy to pop off.

I would rather have the flight cap go over top of the headset. That would help give more tightness to the headset and would help eliminate the wind noise.
