- Review: This PTT was easy to mount on the side of my stick, via the velcro, and has stayed secure in position through numerous glider flights. It replaced another PTT that would fail open and interfere with communications. The PTT button provides a positive feel, and I never have any doubt that I am transmitting. The wiring and plugs are fine quality. The switch seems very sturdy--time will tell.

- Review: My 1946 Piper = L4 and my Mooney = M20 E have one , works great might be perfect with slightly smaller button which actually contains 2 micro switches. So that might be harder to build.

Quality is not amazing, only works as PTT

This product disconnects mic unless you press PTT which makes it unusable for intercom (which is mentioned in another review -- I should have read it before buying!). Even when you are flying alone, you won't hear you voice in headset, which is what I am used to.
I re-wired it to make mic connection to bypass the button (so ring-to-ring connection is now permanent). While doing that, one wire broke off the jack connector without me applying any force. - Review: While this product did work, it was wired to switch on the mic, and a second contact for PTT. usually you would only want this in a noisy environment. I soldered the mic contact shut to provide a hot mic for the intercom. Otherwise I found it to be a quality component. I would have given it 5 stars if it came with better instructions for this work. While it is not complicated, not everyone knows what to solder together.
