  • Pros: It has a heavy, very strong protective feel. Not at all too heavy though. Quality feel and finish. It's really a beautiful helmet.

  • Review: Helmet exceeded my expectations for quality, fit etc. My Comtronics 3100 headset fit perfectly underneath. A little heavier than I expected, but my expectation was based on cheaper helmets. Very comfortable. I got one a little larger than my measurement because the next smaller size wouldn't fit over headphones. It feels snug enough though.

Right tool for job

  • Cons: May need to add foam padding for perfect fit.
  • Review: I am flying open cockpit Challenger 2, thus need helmet with headset, visor, and goggles. This helmet is made for my Comptronics 3100 headset (or similar config like DC full size headset). If you have non-Comtronics headset, check with seller for compatability before purchase.

Does fit Zulu 2, does the job, solid build.

  • Cons: Chin strap could be nicer than d-rings, a bit odd feeling if you don't have a headset on.
  • Review: This is a good quality helmet, that fits a very specialized need. I'm using it for paramotoring while using my Zulu 2 headset. I didn't want to buy a helmet with integrated hearing protection because frankly they just aren't as good as the Zulu's, and they were considerably more expensive. I wanted to reuse the capital asset I already had. So this definitely fit the bill.

    I have a very good bell motorcycle helmet, top of the line, which fits like a glove, but was more expensive than this helmet. This helmet does not fit like that. It's comfortable enough, just not stellar, so 4 stars there. But with the headset on, it actually feels better and more consistent than with it off, so definitely plan on using it with a headset.
