  • Review: Installed and configured in a 1967 Cessna 150G within an hour. I did read the manual ahead of time so I had the data ready to input. So far it has worked flawlessly with my AT150 transponder. Would buy another one.

Best bang for the buck.

  • Pros: Amazing device with excellent reliability.
  • Cons: I don’t think they still sell the cheaper experimental version.
  • Review: Least expensive ADS- Out. Easy to install on CTsw. Flight Design MRA readily available.

Works flawlessly on my '46 Ercoupe

  • By Bill Swartwout from Fenwick Island, DE on Sunday, January 19, 2025
  • Pros: It works perfectly, as designed, and is easy to update/maintain.
  • Cons: None that I can think of.
  • Review: I bought my Ercoupe early last summer; the uAvionix tailBeacon unit had been installed by the previous owner. It has worked perfectly on this vintage (1946) aircraft. I often look at my flights on AdsbExchange after I get home, and the flight track is surprisingly perfect. It is almost amazing how well this tiny device works. Evidently there was a software update a while back - my A&P was able to update the device from his iPhone during my latest Annual. It is small, unobtrusive and easy to maintain. What's not to like?
