Q: I am working on getting my private pilot license (student pilot)-is this headset a good choice? Why does it say "passive" and the others don't? Thanks
A: This would not be a good choice for use in a small single engine prop aircraft. This is really intended for quite cockpits (such as a Commercial or Business Jet). I would suggest you look at the full ear cup headsets. Something like the Sennheiser HME110 or the David Clark H10-13.4. You can also use our Headset Finder to find the perfect headset.
