On Saturday, August 21, 2010 a customer asked:
Q: I had a lightspeed (not rugged at all) need a dependable ANR so went to David Clark... but don't like the battery pack thing..Question...where do I find and install the 6-pin redell connector
A:
Any local avionics shop should be able to easily install a 6-pin Redell connector in your panel. It's generally less than 1.5 hours of shop time to do the install. Of course, this assumes you own the plane. You can buy the 6-pin Redell install kit here (the Bose kit will work for any Redell equiped headset).
On Thursday, January 15, 2009 a customer asked:
Q: Can i use these in a Cessna 172?
A:
Unless your Cessna 172 is specifically wired with a 6 pin redel connector to power the headset, you would need to get the Portable X11 model instead of this X11P model.
On Wednesday, August 13, 2008 a customer asked:
Q: Can you plug in a cell phone or a ipod to the head set?
A:
Yes, this headset has inputs for both music and a cell phone.
