A good set for beginner

Pros: comfortable, great sound quality for the price
Cons: problems with mic over time
Review: This was my first headset and I've used it for my Private, Multi, Instrument, Commercial SE & ME and my CFI & CFII; about 260 hours when all is said and done. I never had any problems with it until around 200 hours or so when the mic began to pick up ambient/wind noise which engaged the intercom. It drove me and my flight partner nuts, but the only way I could stop it was to clamp down on the mic with my hand or unplug the headset and let my partner handle the comms.

Ok for the money

Review: Not a bad deal for the money.. works good, comfortable,, good sound, a little heavy , ear peice pad stitching came apart.. a little large in size but fit good .

Surprising Value

Pros: You can turn off one of the earphones to hear the engine and plane a little better, and the microphone picks up your voice well.
Cons: The knobs do come off easy (super glue renders it fixed well); The second thing is that the earphones press on the pressure point around where the jaw meets the ear. A little adjusting eases it, but it takes getting used to.
Review: I am a student Pilot and really enjoy having this headset. I have found them to be more than adequate for their price. I give it a four out of five mostly for the discomfort on the pressure point near the ear.

Okay except for knobs

Cons: knobs come off soon after purchase
Review: I have found this headset to be adequate for my needs. I have purchased two of them. Both immediately lost their knobs. I bought radio shack knobs for them. It shouldn't be that hard to make knobs stay on.

the basics are good

Cons: Poor Quality on control knobs
Review: This unit is probably better than its price line would indicate. It is relatively comfortable and works fine. The downside is the knobs fell off the first couple of days I used it. Fortunately the exposed stems work fine and I don't have time to send it back.

Great Deal!

Review: Been flying with the C-20 for over a year now and still have no desire to "up grade". Side by side with David Clarks and the rest of them, the Softcomms look as sturdy. So your buddy spend $300.00 why?

Review: It sure was light and didn't clamp down on my head like my other AVCOM does. I did have some trouble with the stereo controls but that might just be because I'm used to my mono control AVCOM.
