1903 Wright Flyer Keepsake
- 3 customer reviews.

Over 100 years ago Orville and Wilbur Wright created a new era by piloting a
motorized glider for a couple of hundred yards. History was made at Kitty Hawk,
culminating in Boeing 747s circling the globe and Voyager spacecraft soaring off
into infinite space. The Wright's aircraft, which really looked more like a
flying kitchen table than a modern plane, is now exhibited in the National Air &
Space Museum in Washington D.C. Orville and Wilbur traveled the world to promote
their invention, and as famous personalities they signed books, memorabilia and
note cards for early collectors.
You'll receive your Wright Flyer exceptionally packaged with the history of
the Wright Flyer. Their "Yours truly, Orville and Wilbur Wright" signature on
the box of this little Wright flyer somehow brings them closer.

Review: When I got the Flyer Keepsake, it looked great. I was so excited because I was giving it to my father-in-law as a Christmas gift. However, when I took it out of the package to check it out, I noticed that one of the little sticks in the front of the plane was broken. I had to super glue the stick back to the plane. Minor, but I shouldn't have had to pay money to fix a plane...

Two heads are better than one. by oscar from Tucson AZ,
Pros: since the time aircrafts were built travel has been much easier by air. Cons: although it's a long way down if ther wer to be any type of malfunction's. Review: First time I have been to this site, and i like that the Wright Bros were able to divise such an aircraft for their time. I would like to build my own flying aircraft ive always dream of flying in the heavens abouve me. I would wish so be as sucessful as the two brother's.
