Sunday, July 20, 2008 ICOM batteries and chargers by Roger from Mahtomedi MN USA  Pros: Purchased material was exactly as published and at a very good price. Cons: The fact that it did not fit is entirely ICOM's fault and your staff went out of their way to help. Review: The material I bought was right on, however, it appears that none of ICOM's dealers have the complete information about what battery goes with what transceiver. I bought what I thought I needed to convert my existing battery charger from MyPilotStore.com. The transaction went like clockwork, but when I received the material I found that the conversion did not fit the battery for my ICOM handheld aviation radio. Through some very rapid email exchanges they gave me the information about how to reach ICOM America and they in turn finally told me that my battery case was in fact not for rechargeable batteries! (This wasn't covered anywhere in their literature!)
