Digital Terminal Procedure Publication (d-TPP)
This is a one-time DVD for entire set of FAA NACO (National
Aeronautical Charting Office) Terminal Procedure Publications (Approach Plates).

The digital - Terminal Procedures Publication (d-TPP) is an electronic
version of the printed 26 volume U.S. Terminal Procedures Publication (TPP).
Searching, viewing, printing and downloading all of civilian and military
(excluding military HIGH procedures) U.S. terminal procedures in PDF format are
possible through d-TPP.
The d-TPP coverage area includes the United States (including Alaska and
Hawaii), Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and Pacific Territories.
d-TPP includes:
- Instrument Approach Procedure charts (IAP)
- Departure Procedure charts (DP)
- Standard Terminal Arrival Route charts (STAR)
- Airport Diagrams (AD)
- Charted Visual Flight Procedure charts (CVFR)
- Take-Off, Radar, and Alternate Minima textual procedures
- Legend and General Information pages
- Each chart or diagram listed above is presented in d-TPP as individual
PDF files. The Take-Off, Radar, and Alternate Minima pages, as well as the
Legend and General Information pages, are presented as multi-page PDFs
covering the particular sections of each of the 26 printed TPP volumes.
The repository of PDF (Adobe Acrobat) files comprising the entire TPP is a
set of some 12000 files. To make sense of this repository, you will have a
browser based search tool. The search tool will allow you to locate TPPs based
on state, city, airport identifier, or TPP volume (i.e. SW-3).
Requirements:
- Computer with a DVD player
- Adobe Acrobat Reader (free at www.adobe.com)
To use the included search tool you will also need:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 browser for the search tool to work
properly. IE 6.0 SP1 provides the needed support for Java Script and XML in
order to make the querying of the XML data possible.
- Limited support for Netscape 7.1 browser is also accommodated. Netscape
users will open to a screen that allows a "Search by State" capability. The
user will be able to choose a state and see all the records in the state
ordered by City, Airport.
- NOTE: The search engine does NOT currently work on a Apple Macintosh computer

The NACO Approach Plates are only available for the US.

The current revision of TPP charts expire on December 20th. The Digital charts maintain the same revision dates as the paper bound charts.
