Jeppesen Trip Kit by Craig from Orange Park FL USA
Pros: Got what needed Cons: Got 99% of extra BS NOT needed or wanted, for too much money. Review: Only needed approaches for Nassau. Jepp only publisher. Forced to buy WHOLE Caribbean. Is BS. Should be able to purchase what needed not every airport with an approach within 1500 miles.

Awful, but a monopoly by RogPilot from Chicago IL USA
Cons: Far to much junk for far too much money Review: The only reason to purchase this overstuffed, overpriced package is that you can't get Caribbean approach plates anywhere else. It's 3-4 inches of useless material with a few necessary pages of government-generated material that should be publicly available.

The best info I've found for Caribbean Flying by Ralph from Columbus OH USA
Pros: Best info I could find Cons: Cumbersome to carry and get around in... Review: A fantastic collection of information on this exotic area to fly in. I only wish I could memorize it all! Fortunately with a little study I have learned how to get around in this large book of information and find the valuable pieces of information for getting from one foreign spot to another safely. Thank you Jepp!
I found the amount of information intimidating. But as I studied the guide while assembling it (yes assembly is required) I took time to familiarize myself with each section and found that exercise to be valuable in and of itself.
I would like to be able to use this on my new iPad. I tried the competion free for one month and it did not work as advertised. The screens "dissappeared" and the program took me from an approach plate back to the main menue with alarming regularity. Does Jepp have an iPad version? I'd love to try it...Could I get a copy as part of my hard bound subscription?

All you could need.... by Ralph from St. John USVI, Cols Oh
Pros: All you need is there... Cons: Gotta have a binder and time to study it. Review: I received my first full copy of this without the binder last year. Getting the binder shipped to St. John USVI took a lot longer than promised, but not Jep's fault (although the rep said it would be there over night...ha try 12 days or so). Almost impossible to use without the binder and tabs. It is literally an encyclopedia of aviation information for Caribbean flying. It is valuable and fun to own. I hope you figure out how to make an ipad ap for this someday soon. Chock full of great details and information. Different that USA info and takes some study and review to find things, but as far as I know it is the best that exists for flying the islands safely.

exactly what I needed (plus a lot more) by Peter from Melbourne FL USA
Pros: Jeppesen quality, thorough Cons: expensive Review: I'm not aware of any other way to get approach plates for the Bahamas. I didn't really need every approach in to Havana to accomplish my trip to Marsh Harbour, but they're fun to have around. The information provided is typical excellent Jeppesen quality and it was nice to see the appropriate FL airports included as well. The loose leaf paper is difficult to manage if you don't have a Jepp compatible binder, but with careful sorting before setting out I made it work.

Too Much by Gerard from Curacao Netherlands Antilles
Pros: Fast service Cons: To much paper that I did not need/want Review: The only thing I needed were the charts, but they gave me 700+ pages of other things like how to read the charts, how radio works, meteorology, tables and codes, ATC, and more. Hope that there will be a service where I can only buy the charts and approaches. It will be much cheaper.

The only game in town by Michael from Summit NJ USA
Pros: The usual Jepp high quality. Cons: Ungodly expensive. Review: I needed the approach plates for a trip to Eleuthera. Sounds simple enough. But the only way to get them is to buy the entire trip kit for the Caribbean. An entire 2" binder of contents for one airport and maybe an alternate. To me this is very expensive overkill that you can't avoid since Jepp is the only provider.
