Love my paper charts

  • By Claudia from Chualar CA USA on Monday, September 23, 2013
  • Pros:
  • Review: I use a GPS and an iPad in flight, but I am reluctuant to get rid of my paper charts. I have organized them the same way for years and know exactly where to look for the information that I need. I love how Jeppessen is consistent.

Perfect, Hassle Free

  • By Claudia from Chualar CA USA on Monday, March 12, 2012
  • Pros: Usability
  • Review: As it is important to have up-to-date charts when flying IFR the subscription is the way to go. Updates are mailed every 2 weeks and I only check for revisions online through Jeppesen. Yes NACO charts can be printed online, but in my opinion Jeppesen charts are easier to read and easier to fly at a glance.

I would buy this product again

  • By michael from monrovia CA USA on Monday, August 15, 2011
  • Pros:
  • Review: Jeppesen has great service! they missed the 2 week update period and they just gave me a whole new set and apologized.

  • By Brad from Poway, CA on Saturday, May 21, 2011
  • Pros:
  • Review: Way better than the NACO charts. Hands down the best. A little pricey? Yes. But more than worth it. As I am writing this I am an IFR student and I am so glad I chose the Jepp Plates.

Jeppeson Airway Subscription

  • By Gabriel from Rancho Santa Fe CA USA on Friday, March 25, 2011
  • Pros: The IFR charts / plates, etc. arrive early
  • Review: Great price, and very convenient

Airway Express Manual - California

  • By Hilly from Janesville CA USA on Thursday, December 09, 2010
  • Pros: Good product
  • Review: For a first time user, the filing instructions were unclear. After stumbling through the process a time or two, it is fine. Jeppesen could have included a "how to" guide as exists on their website if you know where to look. Otherwise I am very pleased with their plates. Side note, I have three subscriptions with Jeppesen. Each purchased from MyPilotStore and each has created a separate Jeppesen customer number. It would be helpful for purposes of monitoring subscription expiration dates if somehow or someone would coordinate the Jeppesen customer numbers such that they could be reviewed in one place on the Jeppesen site.

Tried Both - Prefer Jepp

  • By CRAIG from PASADENA CA USA on Thursday, August 26, 2010
  • Pros: Jepp charts are easy to use in the cockpit.
  • Review: I avoided Jepp because conventional wisdom is that NOAA charts are cheaper. When I did the math, I didn't find much of a difference (at least for my area and the places I fly), so I decided to try the Jepp charts. Although NOAA and Jepp charts are pretty much the same, I definitely prefer the Jepp charts. This subscription through MyPilotStore was definitely the least expensive I could find. So far, the service has been great.
