On Wednesday, December 24, 2008 a customer asked: Q: What was Jeppesen's full name? A: The company was founded in 1934 by Elrey Borge Jeppesen.  He was usually referred to as EB Jeppesen or Captain Jeppesen.  Captain Jeppesen passed away in 1996.
