Very helpful book! by Obelix from NJ USA
Pros: A great reference for student to advanced R22 pilots. Cons: Wish it went into more detail on some topics. Review: I find this book to be very underated, I think it is very useful in that it discusses the technical aspects of the R22, walks you through a pre-flight inspection, and gives useful information on day to day operation of the helicopter as well as in-depth descriptions of helicopter systems. I am a CFI and recommend this book to all my students for an enhanced understanding of the R22. It is also useful as a reference for more advanced pilots and I myself refer to it regularly when I for instance have forgotten some detail of how the electrical system operates.
