Captain's Guide

The Captain's Guide Airport Directory is one of the most complete aviation database in print. The Airport Directory lists basic data for all airports with hard surface runway length of 2,500 feet or longer, including the IDENT, distance from city, longest runway, and all frequencies for CTAF/Unicom, Tower, ATIS, Ground, Approach and Clearance Delivery.

The Captain's Guide also has an Airport Decode (IDENT to airport name) and an Airport Cross Reference (Airport name to city). All VOR and NDBs are listed with frequency, IDENT, and lat/long as well as a VOR Decode (IDENT to name). Also, all 10,000-plus IFR low altitude airway intersections and fixes are listed with five-letter IDENTs and lat/long.

In addition, the Captain's Guide has a complete listing of AM radio stations (Call letters, distance and direction to city, and frequency). 50 thousand watt clear channel stations and sports station frequencies are also listed (Airline pilots love it!). Other handy data included are KOCH charts, emergency procedures, sunset estimator, Time Zone vs. ZULU/Universal time, and much more.
