Thursday, December 13, 2007 Excellent for the beginning pilot! by Steve from Dayton OH USA  Pros: Great descriptions and analogies that make sense out of every topic Cons: None! Review: I heard great things about this book before I ordered it and I cannot write anything here that disagrees with that. Rod's got a way of explaining things in a way everyone can understand - things that can seem complicated by themselves but truly aren't that complex the way it's described in the book. I used this book while in a formal ground school (which required the Jepp kit) and the instructor even preferred this textbook as being one of the best ways to truly learn and understand the material!
