Kennon Cabin Cover - High Wing
- 3 customer reviews.

Kennon Premium Covers are made from Sunbrella. Sunbrella(R) is made from 100% solution dyed acrylic
fiber and is is guaranteed for a period of five years against loss of color or strength from normal exposure conditions including sunlight, mildew, rot, and atmospheric chemicals. It is a solution dyed fabric which gives it a color brightness which is unsurpassed. Being a woven fabric it breathes, and is translucent, both of which are desirable characteristics. Sunbrella(R) also has a fluorocarbon finish which provides excellent water repellency
Each Kennon Cover comes with a satin lining for extra protection. Kennon started offering a satin lining after Desert
Storm when the USAF Windshield Program Office reported that 100 Harrier aircraft suffered about $1M of damage from covers with fuzzy linings. The fuzzy lining apparently collected sand that later scratched the transparency systems.
No fuzzy linings here!
Here are Three More Reasons To Choose A Kennon Cabin Cover!
- Quality of Workmanship. Kennon gets many compliments on their workmanship.
Margaret, Barb, Diane have been building Kennon Cabin Covers for years. They are also responsible for training new hires.
Right out of the box you'll notice the workmanship and to prove that the
Kennon employees care about the workmanship every cover is signed by the person who crafted it!
- Quality of Materials. A cover is only as good as the materials that go into it.
All covers are made from Sunbrella, a woven acrylic canvas that was developed for outdoor use. Sunbrella has a five year warranty against sun
rot and includes a satin lining over the entire window area. Satin is so slippery that sand and dust won't stick to
it and is used instead of a fuzzy lining because fuzzy linings trap sand and dust that can scratch your
plexiglass.
- Quality Service. Every cabin cover is custom made for your exact aircraft.
The normal production time is between 2 and 3 weeks.
Trying to decide between a Cabin Cover and Sun Shields? Here are some things to think about.
- If your plane has a leak, a cabin cover will stop it!
- If you fly in the winter where there is ice, snow and frost, a cabin cover will keep your windows clear.
- If you live by the sea a cover will keep your windows free from sea salt and protect them from blowing sand.
- If you tie down at a busy major airport, a cover will keep your windows free from atmospheric contaminates like jet fuel residue.
Each cover is custom made for your aircraft. During checkout, please
specify the year, make, and model of your aircraft in the "Special
Instructions" space. Please allow two to three weeks for delivery.
Cessna 206, 207, or 208 Owners: Please note there will be a
$50.00 surcharge added for these aircraft models.

Cover is beautiful by A Customer from New Orleans LA USA
Pros: Soft liner, reinforced stress points, 3 bands instead of just two Cons: Tail strap flaps in wind (we removed it) & website wasn't clear, so the OAT probe pocket wasn't provided. Review: The construction, design and feel are excellent. It is well thought-out and very well made.

Kennon Cabin Cover by Frank from Mandeville LA USA
Review: The cover is great and fits very nicely on my 182. The only thing I don't like is the bungee cord that attaches to my tail tie down hook. A little wind and the thing vibrates like crazy. I can hear it a mile away. Other than that - A very good product.
