Pretty good, had for years, but... by Shirley from Mariposa CA USA
Pros: Easy to find most airports quickly Cons: None of great consequence Review: A decent VFR book and I have used it for years. Took a hiatus from flying and when returning sent for update. They instead sent me the entire book and cover (which was not needed - have leather one). Would recommend for VFR Hamburger Hunters.

Exactly what you need when diverting... by David from Bellevue WA USA
Pros: Easy to find the airport and the diagrams are invaluable Review: I purchased this and the Pilots Guide to Northwestern Airports for a trip to Chico. It was invaluable on the way back when we had to land at an unfamiliar airport for a bathroom break. The airport has parallel runways and the tower gave us complex taxi instructions, the diagram was truly necessary. Then when the weather turned sour in Washington we found all the details about the surrounding airports including where to taxi for transient tie-downs.

Lots of airport info by Joe B. from N. Calif.
Pros: Somewhat big, but fits into flight bag. Cons: None Review: This book makes flying into an unfamiliar airport feel like your home field. Very informative with pictures and narratives on reporting points and what directions to expect from the tower. This book also covers non-tower airports. It is a little big, but that is the trade off for a bunch of information. There are about 5 pages of info for a tower controlled field.

One of the indespensible ones by Bill from Los Angeles CA USA
Pros: Lots of info on airports Cons: a little big Review: This book is great. Even though I have other guides, I use this one as well because, even though it's a little bigger, it offers some great information especially for a beginning pilot who needs all the help they can get.
