Excellant idea but design flawe

  • By Mark from Ada MI USA on Monday, July 09, 2018
  • Pros: Fine fun little keybob
  • Review: Item is a fun little, potentially useful toy. I love carrying it around attached to my cell. The design flaw is this: its intended to be used as a keychain but the ink on it scratches off readily. It needs some kind of clear coating over the writing that tolerates the scratchy environment of a pocket. Then it would be perfect and wonderful. I bought a second one to keep safe while my cell phone one continues to degrade

  • By Fernando from San Antonio tx on Saturday, February 05, 2011
  • Pros:
  • Review: Dont waste your money. This is only a cheap keychain. You cannot use the flight computer. And the keychain worked for only 1 weeek until it broke.

  • Pros:
  • Review: Nothing special, looks neat and people ask about it but otherwise just a keychain.

Great Slide Rule

  • By Fritz from Farmington Hills, MI on Monday, February 23, 2009
  • Pros: Performs all sorts of mathematical functions
  • Review: I have been using this circular slide rule for over 40 years. Beside the normal ground speed and distance index calculations used by pilots, it is functional slide rule that can be used for all types of algebraic functions and formulas. It can perform simple division and multiplication function. I fastened this to a money clip with Velcro to make it removable and easier to use than attached to keys.

Q: how do you use the pilot's keychain computer... is there a reference of some sort or can you simply explain it? Thanks.

A: This Keychain Computer does not ship with instructions, however you can use the instructions for ASA's E6B Flight Computer to get a general idea, although there will be some differences.
