- Review: Certainly easy enough to connect and get working. Some balancing of the audio panel and mic levels is required especially if your crew has different headsets than you. The coiled cable is a hassle if you need to stretch it out across the cabin. I just bought a straight wire extender and ran it along the floor. But it works great!

Q: Can you talk on the phone thru your headset with this adapter?
A: This adapter will allow you to use your smart phone as a recording device only. If you want to be able to talk on your phone I would recommend either the Matchbox Headset Music/Cell Phone Interface or Pilot USA BluLink Cell Phone to Aviation Headset Adapter. Both of these would allow you to use your cell phone with your headset.
