The Handmade Airplane Pilot Sign features:

This wood sign has a unique look and feel. It is based upon late 19th century designs when use of text oriented pub and trade signs were at their height. The craftsman that make these signs puts a lot of time and care into each product, finishing with a hand rubbed stain that gives the sign that perfect look.
Personalization: The personalization has no character limits (within reason). However, please realize that the more characters that are included, the smaller the text will be on the name board. This Pilots Lounge sign will be personalized with any word, phrase, or name in the area that says "DANIEL'S" on the picture. When you click the "Add to Cart" button it will ask for the personalization that you would like added. Personalized text will appear EXACTLY as entered. We DO NOT change punctuation and assume spelling is correct. For example, if you type "daniels" your name board will be printed in all lowercase letters without an apostrophe.

The first time, the customization didn't match the order I placed and the wooden martini glass fell off, taking a good deal of paint with it. I was less than impressed. The new sign arrived in four days, with the customization correct and the sign fully intact. The finished product looks professional but not cookie cutter, is attractive on the wall, not too big or too small, is sturdy and unique, and a definite conversation starter. While I was initially disappointed in the product, My Pilot Store's excellent customer service and resolution of the problem blew me away, and the sign (version 2) is more than I'd hoped for.
