Q: I would like to convert my dual-plug A20 to a LEMO panel-powered cable. But I still occasionally have to fly older aircraft without LEMO plugs. I can use a Bose adapter to plug the headset in. But of course, it will then NOT receive power from the plane's panel. Does this LEMO adapter still carry batteries which could then power the noise-reduction when there is not power from the panel?

A: Yes, you have it exactly correct.  This cable assembly includes a battery box but if you are connected to an aircraft via the 6-pin LEMO jack then the batteries are NOT needed. You would only need to put batteries in if you are using the headset for entertainment purposes when NOT connected to an aircraft or if you are using the LEMO to Fixed Wing Adapter and connecting to the airplane with the standard dual plugs.  In either of those situations, the batteries would power the noise reduction system and the Bluetooth system.

Q: I would like to order 5 Bose A-20 with Bluetooth head sets to be used in a (MD 520 Helicopter) my question is do I order the LEMO connector with a straight cord or a coil cord what is your recommendation

A: In general we recommend that you go with a straight cord if you plug into the panel at any point BELOW your shoulders.  If you plug into the helicopter ABOVE your shoulders, go with the coiled cord.
