Her cord works perfectly, mine requires pulling the aux end slightly out to tweak the connection to the audio source, which is tedious and frustrating. With her cord, you just plug the jack into the source and you have excellent quality sound.

Upon further review, it turned out that my MP3 player only works in stereo. When I turned it to mono, the music stops. The Cable can only transmit one side of the audio and unfortunately won't work in the mono setting.

The mini-jack side is a little more flimsy and tends to bend side to side a bit (this is what accounts for the 4 star rating). The sound quality is rock solid with no background noise.
