Q: Is the Practical Test Standards ATP for airplane book the same as the ATP oral Exm Guide? I asked for Practical at Sporty's and they gave me Guide for Oral.
A: No, they are completely different. It sounds like they gave you the wrong thing. The PTS is an outline of everything that the examiner may cover during the flight portion of your practical test (checkride). The ATP Oral Exam Guide contains the most frequently asked questions during your the oral portion of the practical exam, career interviews, and aircraft transition and the appropriate responses.
