This 67" cable includes an electret microphone with Bluetooth control module.

Q: how difficult is this to install?
A: It takes less than 30 seconds. Simply use a small Phillips screwdriver (size #00 or #1 recommended) to detach your current cable assembly from the headset, plug this one in and tighten the same two (2) Phillips head screws. That''s it!

Q: Can this still be used with batteries?
A: Yes, if you convert this to a dual plug configuration with this adapter you would use two AA batteries to power the headset.
