- Review: This is my 2nd replacement of the factory battery. The factory supplied battery lasted 10-years. The factory replacement battery lasted 10-years. I paid a little more money for another factory replacement battery so that I can get another 10-years service life out of the radio. I have purchased aftermarket batteries for other radios and they do not last as long as factory.
