Pros: comfortable, gain adjust on mic, durable
Cons: absence of foam mic cover
Review:
The David Clark H10-36 is a great headset to begin flight training and for continued use into your commercial career. It is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The H10-36 also has great sound quality. It would be nice if it came with the foam mic cover, but with a little tweak of the gain adjustment screw you can keep it from picking up external noise and still have it pick up your voice clearly. Flying in the Robinson R-22, blade slap will activate the mic every once in a while. I haven't flown "doors off" with it yet, but I'm assuming I'll definitely need the foam mic cover for that.
